Evangel seeks to serve.  We believe that the local church must be involved with ministries in their congregations, in their communities, in their region, in their nation, and in our world.  Learn how Evangel looks to fulfill this God-sized task by reviewing our International, Regional, and Local Missions

International Missions

Evangel supports numerous Missionaries across the global.  Take a few moments to get to know them and their mission and learn how you can be a part of what God is doing in other parts of the world.

Regional Missions

Evangel’s regional missions are largely maintained through affiliate organizations and partnerships.

Local Missions

Evangel is deeply concerned about the spiritual health of the Houghton/Hancock/Keweenaw Area.  We have a few local ministers and ministries that we support.

  • Aaron & Laurel Green are staff members of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship assigned to the Michigan Tech Chapter’s campus ministry.
  • Bill & Serenity Schoonover work locally as staff of Youth for Christ to reach teens and provide support for those who minister to them.
  • Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ) seeks to mobilize the church to meet needs of those hurting or in need.  Love INC meets physical and emotion needs in order to share the solution to our spiritual need, Jesus Christ.
